Last time to mow the Graveyard

Here we are mowing the Graveyard in Nauvoo, I found a little frog and wanted the grandkids to see it.....Sister Francis is parked in front of some lawn that we did not cut this year and we wanted you to see what it would have looked like if we didn't come to nauvoo and did all this mowing....We had a farewell breakfast today and this picture is of everyone leaving in Oct....Half the Mission....It is the largest group to leave in one month...

Two More Weeks to go....

Here are some pictures that we took this week....We will be coming home on the 12th of Oct so only two more weeks....It will great to see everyone.....This is a picture of Sister Francis' new best friend...."Marlin" the raccoon.... We had a very large swarm of big birds fly over.. there were hundreds....Here are pictures of us on stage doing our Peter and Abigail roles....It is alot of fun..just 5 more shows....the young lady in the middle is Erika (Reid) Dely from Chicago..she came all this way just to see us...

Morning Mow and new Truck

Here are a few pictures of our New Ford F-250 2007 it will pull the trailer very nicely..Sister Francis looks very nice in the drivers seat.....Also pictures of us going out to work and taking a break in the graveyard...

X Cast Party

Here are some pictures of our party we had with the X Cast..It was outdoors and really fun..Sister Francis taught line dancing and I played the guitar....the food was good and the Taylors cooked the burgers.....Also Moroni blowing his horn at the Moon

Brady's are in Nauvoo

Bob and Mary Brady from ST. George came to Nauvoo and we had a great time with them...The Bradys are our real estate agents in St. George and we have become good friends over the years, so it was great to have them in Nauvoo to see what we do and feel the spirit here.....The other pictures are of Elder Francis running a STUMP remover..It is a big grinder that swings back and forth and up and down so you can wear away at the stump...It is hard work and Sister Francis ran it too....She is a hard worker....Life is still good here in Nauvoo..The weather is very good..Not Hot...

The Lincoln Memorial

Here are some pictures of a group of us that went to the Lincoln Memorial in Springfield.... It was great, the pictures are of the Memorial, the Lincoln Home and at the Lincoln tomb... The Zunkers, Wolfendens, and Mark and Erica Hirschi she is two weeks away from having her baby....It was a fun day Pam planned it out and it was fun, we had lunch and the weather was good too....It took almost three hours to drive here from Nauvoo...

Still Mowing in Nauvoo

Here is a another picture of us Mowing together..we do this everday and it is great, the only couple to mow together...We are on the lawns in front of the Temple...Elder Hills took this picture..Also here is a picture of what a BIG bird was carrying and he dropped it on MY car....click on the picture and see the magets...It was AWFUL

Here are some pictures of Terry and Kathy Miller our great friends from Vista, Calif..They came to see us and Nauvoo, it was a great weekend the weather, food and friendship was the BEST....We went to the Visitor Center and then to a park for a personal concert from the band while we ate lunch....Then to the lawn mowers, it was funny to watch Terry drive the mower......Go to the next blog page to see more...
