Brady's are in Nauvoo





Bob and Mary Brady from ST. George came to Nauvoo and we had a great time with them...The Bradys are our real estate agents in St. George and we have become good friends over the years, so it was great to have them in Nauvoo to see what we do and feel the spirit here.....The other pictures are of Elder Francis running a STUMP remover..It is a big grinder that swings back and forth and up and down so you can wear away at the stump...It is hard work and Sister Francis ran it too....She is a hard worker....Life is still good here in Nauvoo..The weather is very good..Not Hot...

The Lincoln Memorial






Here are some pictures of a group of us that went to the Lincoln Memorial in Springfield.... It was great, the pictures are of the Memorial, the Lincoln Home and at the Lincoln tomb... The Zunkers, Wolfendens, and Mark and Erica Hirschi she is two weeks away from having her baby....It was a fun day Pam planned it out and it was fun, we had lunch and the weather was good too....It took almost three hours to drive here from Nauvoo...

Here is a another picture of us Mowing together..we do this everday and it is great, the only couple to mow together...We are on the lawns in front of the Temple...Elder Hills took this picture..Also here is a picture of what a BIG bird was carrying and he dropped it on MY car....click on the picture and see the magets...It was AWFUL

Millers in Nauvoo #3

Here are some pictures of Terry and Kathy Miller our great friends from Vista, Calif..They came to see us and Nauvoo, it was a great weekend the weather, food and friendship was the BEST....We went to the Visitor Center and then to a park for a personal concert from the band while we ate lunch....Then to the lawn mowers, it was funny to watch Terry drive the mower......Go to the next blog page to see more...

Our Turn at Carthage Jail






Here are some pictures of us as tour guides at the Carthage jail..It was a great experience and we really felt the spirit there....Sister Francis is in the jailers kitchen and in the lower holding room..we are standing in front of the window that JS went out...and the well where landed....What a special place

More mowing and big trees






Here is a picture of us Mowing and we found this big tree that blew the top off and we almost got hit.........(Well not really) but it was big....and the ground hog is next to our trailer...We went to a arrow head museum and it was amazing some were over 12000 years old....this sign was in a Amish store we went to....makes sense to me...
The weather is hot again so that is why I wear the big hat....

Goodbye to Sister Patterson






Here is a picture of Sister Pattersons parents and sister..This is her last Sunday here she was a great missionary and fun to be with her...more pageant pictures and here is a tree limb that almost hit my machine....(I almost hit it) The heat index today Monday was over 105 so we stopped mowing at 1:00pm...Also Sister Francis and I gave tours at the Brigham Young home on Sunday, this is her in the kitchen area...it was fun too.

Nauvoo Pageant






Here are some pictures of the Pageant here in Nauvoo...It was great there were thousands of people at each show....everyday...in our little town of Nauvoo...
We went to it three times....The Spirit was so strong, I think I cried everytime.
